The Big Lebowski (1993)

The story of “The Dude” was not wildly successful in its initial release, but it has since grown into a place on everyone’s short list of cult classics. The film is now in the National Film Registry and has spawned a cottage industry and “pseudo-religion” of its own.

For this movie, the brothers assembled a huge and diverse cast — Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Turturro, Sam Elliott, Julianne Moore, Ben Gazzara, and Asia Carrera (yes, THAT Asia Carrera –– the Rutgers alumnus, Mensa member and former porn star).
