I  always had to watch NBC’s 30 Rock on a delayed basis on my DVR. I had to do this in order to pause an episode as often as needed in order to look up some pop culture reference, meme, urban slang, or non-sequitur by one of the characters that otherwise would have escaped me. This was especially the case anytime Jane Krakowski’s “Jenna Maroney” character was on-screen (whose persona has been compared to our (former) commander-in-chief).
