I always found this tune reminiscent of The Four Seasons (posted elsewhere), and the video shown here is among my favorites.

At that time Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley (shown above) were married so (keeping it in the family) it is Christie who pulls into the garage as the mysterious lady with the “classy chassis”, the wide hat and the legs that seemingly stretch forever.
