The captain (shown here at this desk and played by Daniel J. Travanti) successfully lightens things up for his troops with a <em>reeeeeeeeeeeally<\/em> off-hand (literally) joke.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The show&#8217;s large cast of flawed but lovable characters was often filmed &#8220;talking while walking&#8221; amid a dark, gritty story line.
