The Latin words set here by the Renaissance master Palestrina translate as “As the\u00a0hart<\/a> longs for the flowing streams,\u00a0so longs my soul for thee, O God.<\/em><\/strong>” The weaving in and out of the individual lines in the 4 voices\u00a0—\u00a0and the\u00a0way chords come together at various points — are nothing short of sublime.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
